Instructions to make Dal murg:

  1. At first soak all the dals for 2 hours.Then marinate the chicken with ingredients like ginger garlic paste,oil, turmeric and ref chilli powder and salt..
  2. Then after 2 hours boil the soaked dals in pressure cooker.allow 2 whistle..
  3. In a pan heat the mustard oil and ghee.add chopped onion and fry till light brown.then add ginger garlic paste and cook for 3 minutes.after that add the tomatoes and cook till soft.now add the marinated chicken and cook for 2 minutes.then cover the pan.cook it till the chicken become soft.the total process will be in medium flame..
  4. When chicken become soft add the boiled dal and add all the powder spices except garam masala.gravy will be thick so concentrate about the water.mix everything well.add salt and sugar per taste add the slited green chillies..
  5. Now add the garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves.serve hot with roti or paratha.
