  1. Pressure cook the dal until 4 whistle on medium flame and let it cool.
  2. In a pan,heat the oil,add mustard,when it sputter,hing, add onion, garlic, green chillies and saute it. Add tomato and saute it then add palak and cook it for 3 to 4 min.
  3. Add cooked dal and mix it properly and add all dry spices,salt as per taste and add 2 cup of water and adjust the consistency. Cover it with lid and allow to cook for 5minutes..
  4. When it is cooked temper it with onion, garlic and red chilli powder and add it on dal. Garnish with fresh coriander and enjoy with steam rice.
