  3. Heat Ghee in a tadka pan, add cumin and mustard seeds, let it crackle, add ginger-garlic paste, saute for 20 seconds, add asfoetida. Add this tempering in the cooked Dal and then add garam masala. Mix well, give it a boil for 1 minutes, serve hot with rice or chapati..
