Steps to make Prawns Biryani:

  1. Marinate prawns 1. Wash cleaned prawns properly 2. Take it in a bowl 3. Put half spoon salt, half spoon chilly powder and half spoon turmeric powder 4. Mix it and keep it aside for 30 mins to marinate.
  2. Frying onion 1. Take oil in good quantity to fry onion and put it on high flame 2. Put sliced onion into oil 3. Let onion fry till its golden brown 4. Take fried onion in a separate plate 5. Remove excess oil from pan and just keep 3 to 4 spoon of oil in it, we will use it for cooking prawns.
  3. Boiling rice for Biryani 1. Wash 1 kg of Biryani rice and soak it in water for 20 mins 2. Boil water in a vessel OK which 3. Put 2 spoon salt, just Quater spoon ginger garlic paste, 2 sliced green chilly, dry masala like bay leaves, cloves, black pepper, give it good mix 4. Let water boil properly 5. Add rice, let rice cook 70 to 80% max.
  4. Cook prawns 1. Take same pan in which we fried onion 2. Let oil heat up, add fried onions, keep Lil fried onion aside for garnishing biryani 3. Add ginger garlic paste. Stir it till raw smell goes away 4. Add sliced tomatoes, chilly, capsicum and add pinch of salt so that tomatoes cook fast 5. Add masala - salt, kashmiri red chilly powder, biryani masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder and stir it for 2 mins, add 2 spoon water to cook masala.
  5. 6. Add 3 spoon ketchup and stir for 1 min 7. Add chopped mint leaves and coriander leaves 8 Give it a good mix 9. Add 3 to 4 spoon of water and Cover it and cook for 2 mins 10. Add marinated prawns 11. Let it cook for 5 mins 12. Add one bowl water and let prawns cook.
  6. Biryani layering 1. After cooking prawns for 7 to 8 mins and thick masala is ready add rice to it. 2. Take rice directly by draining water and keep adding it to vessel in prawns is cooking 3. Keep gas on a very low flame in which prawns vessel is kept 4. Add entire rice 5. Garnish it with fried onion and sprinkle 2 spoon ghee 6. Cover with lid which perfectly for to vessel so that air is trapped inside 7. Cook in on high flame for 1 mins 8 lower gas and cook it on low flame for 15 to 20 mins.
  7. Biryani is ready to serve.
