  3. Also add 1 tsp ginger paste and a pinch of hung. Then, saute well..
  4. Now add 1/4 tsp of turmeric, 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 1/2 tsp of coriander powder and 1/2 tsp of mirch powder with some water, and mix well..
  5. For few minutes saute all the masala and then, add the boiled dal. Also, add 1 cup of water..
  6. Cover it and let it be cooked for 5 minutes till the dal absorbs all the flavour..
  7. Now add 1/4 tsp of garam masala and 1/2 tsp of sugar, and mix well..
  8. Finally, serve the Veg Mix Dal with rice or chapattis..
